Anche quest’anno siamo felici di poter annunciare, nell’ambito della XXI edizione della Conferenza Internazionale sulla distrofia muscolare di Duchenne e Becker organizzata da Parent Project aps, la sessione poster per i ricercatori, i clinici e le aziende che vogliono condividere i loro progetti di ricerca con l’intera comunità internazionale di famiglie ed esperti. 

La conferenza si terrà a Roma, presso l’Ergife Palace Hotel, dal 16 al 18 febbraio 2024 e rappresenta un’incredibile opportunità di scambio, crescita, informazione, aggiornamento e networking per tutta la comunità Duchenne e Becker.

Per partecipare alla sessione poster, che si svolgerà durante la pausa pranzo di sabato 17 febbraio 2024, è necessario inviare un abstract, seguendo le istruzioni riportate nell’allegato, entro l’8 gennaio all’indirizzo scienza@parentproject.it,.

Inoltre, se siete giovani ricercatori sotto i 35 anni, siete invitati a partecipare al nostro premio per il miglior contributo divulgativo, inviando un video mp4 della durata di 1 minuto che descriva il vostro lavoro in un linguaggio adatto alle famiglie. Il nostro comitato scientifico e di comunicazione selezionerà i migliori 20 contributi video che saranno trasmessi in streaming durante la conferenza, nel corso di 2 brevi sessioni dedicate. Il pubblico voterà il video migliore e il vincitore sarà premiato, durante la serata di sabato 17 febbraio 2024, con un contributo di 500 euro.

Anche i video divulgativi andranno inviati entro l’8 gennaio 2024 all’indirizzo scienza@parentproject.it, seguendo le indicazioni che trovate in allegato

Nello spazio espositivo presso l’Hotel Ergife sarà possibile accogliere un numero massimo di 39 poster. Nel caso in cui pervenisse un numero maggiore di richieste verrà data priorità ai giovani ricercatori.

CALL FOR POSTERS – 21th International Conference, 16-18 February 2024, Ergife Palace Hotel, Rome, Italy

As part of the 21^st International Conference on Duchenne and Becker Muscular Dystrophy organized by Parent Project aps, we are happy to be able to announce once again the poster session for researchers, clinicians and companies who want to share their research projects with the entire international community of families and experts. 

The conference, which will be held in Rome, at the Ergife Palace Hotel, from the 16^th to the 18^th of February, 2024, offers plenty of opportunities for information, updating and networking for the entire Duchenne and Becker community.

To participate in the poster session, which will take place during the lunch break on Saturday, February 17, 2024, you are required to send an abstracts, following the instructions in the attachment, by January 8 to scienza@parentproject.it.

In addition, if you are a young researcher under the age of 35, you are invited to participate in our award for the best dissemination work, by submitting a 1 minute-long mp4 video describing your work in a family-friendly language (ITALIAN LANGUAGE ONLY). Our scientific and communication committee will select the best 20 video contributions that will be streamed during the conference, during 2 short dedicated sessions. The audience will vote for the best video and the winner will be awarded, during the evening of Saturday, February 17, with a contribution of 500 euros.

Dissemination videos should also be sent by January 8, 2024 to scienza@parentproject.it, following the instructions in the attachment.

It will be possible to accept a maximum of 39 posters. In case more requests are received, priority will be given to young researchers.
